Artist's Description
Two Sandhill cranes in flight over the cornfields in West Richland, Washington during their spring migration. Every spring thousands of sandhill cranes stay for a few weeks in West Richland, Washington eating corn and other food in preparation for their flight to Alaska where they spend the summer months.
About Lynn Hopwood
Hi, my name is Lynn Hopwood, I live in southeastern Washington which is mostly desert and farming. We have a lot of sunshine and beautiful sunsets and sunrises here. I love photographing and go out everyday trying to capture the beauty that God has surrounded me in. This past year I have taken many opportunities to go to Mount Rainier National Park which is 2 1/2 hours from my home to photograph the beauty that I find there. I look forward to being on FAA and learning from all of you. I love to combine God' creation with His word which can be seen in my scripture art.
