A summer mornings capture of Mount Rainier and its reflection on lower Tipsoo lake in July with still a good amount of snow on the ground. This alpine lake is located in Mount Rainier National Park in Washington state with an elevation of 5,299 above sea level. It is part of the northern cascade mountain range.

Beautiful! Is it unusual? One year I visited during Jul/Aug and the ground was in full rebirth mode. Warm too. I need to make it out there again. I love this place. I painted a similar scene from a calendar photo in high school and it is my idea of what paradise looks like.
