Description
The Sandhill cranes stop in West Richland, Washington every spring on their migration route up to Alaska. They stay for a month feeding on the leftover corn, insects, worms, plant tubers, etc.
Adult birds have a wingspan between 6-8 feet and stand 3 to 4 feet tall. They are a joy to watch and to hear their rattling bugle call.

What a wonderful capture. I would love to see these Cranes. Love how some of them along with the edges of the clouds reflect the light.
